The Learningdrum project is unique by providing high-end teaching methods, design and technical solutions and at the same time keeping the education 100 % free for all people around the world that take an interest in the subject. No charges or login are required, the project is financed through built in advertisement systems. Learningdrum presents free tutorials with live playing, video recorded drummers, some integrated with 3-D graphics and animations to create an exciting learning experience.



An innovative video system has been developed for the project. By using a virtual video control system each student has the individual control to adapt the interface to appropriate level of skill. It is possible to change the video tempo without any loss of sound quality until comfortable perception is reached.



The notation system is synchronized to dual angle videos and Learningdrum guides the student through each stroke sequence by highlighting each note struck. Highlighted notes in combination with the slow video tempo setting creates a excellent learning environment for new beginners to both build notation skills and a understanding of complex stroke combinations.



The user may call on sticking information at any time. Right and left symbols indicates which hand or foot that performs a stroke in the sequence. Enable or disable the sticking symbols with one button click. All scenes in Learningdrum are printable, no additional plug-ins are needed.
