Learningdrum grants permission to use the following press images in printed press articles and all screen media coverage of the Learningdrum project.
All press photos are royalty free and can be used without any charges. The images can be edited in any way desired. The photos are in high resolution Photoshop (PSD) format and can easily be exported to all common formats.
Right click on the download links below and choose "Save target as" to save the high resolution versions to your hard drive.

| Learningdrum Synchronized Video System (LSVS) |
|
Description: An innovative video system has been developed for the project. By using a virtual remote system each student has the individual control to adapt the interface to appropriate level of skill. It is possible to change the video tempo without any loss of sound quality until comfortable perception is reached.
The notation system is synchronized to dual angle videos and Learningdrum guides the student through each stroke sequence by highlighting each note struck. The user may call on sticking information at any time and all scenes in Learningdrum are printable. |

| Advanced step by step animations |
|
Description: Besides the video instructions Learningdrum also provides with detailed Flash animations where advanced
techniques can be studied through step by step instructions. The student is in charge of the tempo of the tutorial and it is easy to review steps if needed.

| Interactive challenges stimulates the learning process |
|
Description: Learningdrum creates interest and stimulates the learning process by keeping the student active at all times.
For example the student challenges to learn an advanced stroke combination, a paradiddle, by trying to follow animated hands. Simultaneously the student can view notes that highlights at the same time as they are played and a symbol that indicates which hand plays the stroke are shown.
The student can also change the tempo of the tutorial. That creates a feeling of a relaxed learning environment and an opportunity to learn in the students own pace. |
